Sleeper Pendant
As part of a Studio assignment, WUNO was tasked with creating a light fixture using Woody Allen’s 1973 Sleeper as the design impetus. Picking up on the slapstick nature of the film and working with materiality found within it, the Sleeper Pendant was conceptualized. Constructed with materials sourced from New York City’s Canal Street shops and Home Depot, the fixture embodies the sensibility of the film while also being inherently visually pleasing.
