Rebecca Wu-Norman of WUNO is a designer and artist living and working in New York City and London. Raised in rural Upstate New York and New York City, She has a multidisciplinary background having studied the Arts, Design, Sociology and Multi Ethnic Studies. She holds degrees from Bard College and The Fashion Institute of Technology and has studied at Bennington College, La Universidad de la Habana and the Art Students League of New York. Her work is informed by her history of embracing dichotomy throughout her life’s trajectory. Her curiosity, diverse interests and love of travel feed her creativity and she aims to cultivate a synthesis between Art, Design social experience wherever possible. She holds the fundamental belief that Design has the power to create positive change and bring beauty to the world in which we live. 

 

Her design work has been published in Interior Design magazine and nominated for their Best of Year Award. Her paintings have been exhibited at the Urban Office Showroom in New York, NY; Hudson Rouge in New York, NY; Bennington College in Bennington, VT; Buxton School in Williamstown, MA and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, NY.
