The Independent
The Independent Hotel was much in need of a refresh to increase occupancy and uplift the quality of hotel guest’s stays. Using the American Georgian style of the existing building as inspiration, allowed for a design solution to be a mix of contemporary elegance all while maintaining a sense of history to the space. A rich palette of historic blues, red exposed brick, soft neutrals and a little bit of whimsy transformed the 24 guest-room boutique hotel into a modern destination for business and pleasure travelers alike.
